A personal trainer’s job is to customize fitness plans based on individual goals and work with clients in accomplishing those goals.

Many personal trainers also have additional qualifications in weight loss, strength training, bodybuilding, pre- and post-natal fitness and nutrition which are all parts of continuing education program.
What’s happens in a typical one-on-one training program?
In a typical One on One training, the trainer walks the client through the customized workout that has been created for the session. This involves a quick discussion on why a specific exercise was chosen, the muscles worked and it’s benefits, the dos and donts followed by a demonstration of the warmup stretches, main workout and the post workout stretches.
Prior to devising the exercise and nutrition plan, we take into account your specific goals ,timeframe, current body composition, exercise preference, current health, lifestyle and medical conditions. The training program can be a combination of various cross training activities such as Weight Training, Functional Circuit Training, High Intensity Interval training and Cardiovascular Endurance Training.
Will you do a fitness evaluation before I start training?
Absolutely yes! Before getting started we will have to do an initial consultation and assessment to understand your goals and learn more about your lifestyle. During this free assessment, I will do a thorough evaluation of your medical history, fitness levels and postural assessment. After taking these factors into account, I will develop a personalized plan and set a realistic timeframe to help you achieve your goals.
Do you train both men and women?
I only train women in person (one-on-one). For online training, I coach both men and women.
How much does it cost to sign up for a personal training program?
The cost would depend on the training package. I offer packages of 12 and 20 sessions for personal training. Please get in touch for quotes on packages.
Do I need to bring the exercise equipment to the personal training sessions?
I will attend each personal training session with the required equipment. You don’t need to provide any additional training gear yourself. The kit that you will use depends on the program which has been professionally prepared for your personal training sessions.
Can I pre-book weekly personal training times?
Absolutely. You can pre-book your training times which makes the process a whole lot smoother by ensuring you have a slot fixed for you on a weekly basis.
Where are personal training sessions held?
Since I am a mobile personal trainer, I can provide training sessions in any of the freelance training facilities in Dubai. Alternatively, I also offer home-based personal training or training in apartment gyms in select locations. Please get in touch for more details.
What if I have to cancel my training session ?
A 24-hour notice is required incase of any cancellation.Notice of less than 24 hours will incur a full payment of the session fee.
What is the refund policy on packages ?
Refund if applicable is on a case to case basis and is usually at the sole discretion of the trainer.
What is the duration of the program?
The exercise program will be split into short term achievable goals and this would depend on the initial goal setting.
How often should I come for training?
For beginners, a minimum of 3-4 times a week is essential to see maximum results.
How many times you meet with me is a very individualized decision and depends on your fitness goals and motivation levels. My ultimate goal is to promote self-dependency to enable you to take ownership of your workouts.
Can you help me plan my diet?
Yes, certainly. I will design an individualized nutrition plan for you which is a critical part of your journey to self-transformation.
Is it safe for pregnant women to exercise?
Absolutely, as long as you ensure you are training under the guidance of a pre- and postnatal specialist.
I’ve had surgery, can I still do fitness training?
Post-surgery, once your doctor gives you a green signal, you are good to go.
When do I see results?
A client typically sees results anywhere between 8-12 weeks provided he/she adheres to the nutrition and training program.
What’s online training and how do I know it works?
In an online training program, I will provide you with customized training and nutrition plan based on your assessment and goals.
There will bi-weekly check ins and progress feedback exchanged between you and me to ensure you stay motivated and on track. You can reach me 24/7 by email for any questions or concerns you may want to address. We can also connect through Skype if required.
Online training works as long as you hold yourself accountable to the plan and you constantly stay in touch with your trainer throughout the training program.
